# Timelogs list

How to navigate the timelogs list and locate entries.

The **Timelogs** module is the first tab in the left-side navbar of the Web App. When you open the tab, you arrive at the list of timelogs for the current day. The following sections discuss different components of the timelogs list to help you navigate the list and locate entries.

## Flags filter and date picker

At the top of the page, you have the flags filter, which lets you filter weekly flagged timelogs by different flag types. For more information on flag types and when they are applied, see [Flags](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/flags#flags). In addition to flag filters, there is a **Comments** filter to filter out timelogs that contain [comments](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/timelog-details#comments).

Next, below the flag filter, you have a date picker to filter the timelogs list by date.

Then, you have the timelogs table, where the timelogs are grouped by the job site. So, you select the job site and view all the timelogs that have been registered for that job site on the selected date. Job site selection is done through the **Job Sites** navbar, which is discussed next.

## Job Sites navbar

Each job site row in the navbar contains the job site name, number, and the number of [timelogs with an entry](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/timelogs-overview#what-is-a-timelog). Apart from letting you select a job site to view corresponding timelogs, the **Job Sites** navbar has some additional functionality:

* **Search**. Search job sites by their name.
* **Hide empty**. Hide all the job sites that don't contain any timelogs with entries.
* **Navigate to the list of employees**. Select the link to navigate to the job site's [list of employees](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/job-site-employees-and-cost-codes). The following GIF shows the process of expanding a job site entry from the **Job Sites** navbar.

* **Pin**. Pin a job site to the top of the navbar. The following screenshot highlights the pin button.

## Timelogs table

The timelogs table is where you see a list of timelogs filtered by job site, date, and other parameters. The timelogs table has several fields, some of which are fixed, while others can be shown or hidden. You choose which fields to display from the three-dots menu at the top of the table.

  If a certain property is deactivated for your MobiClocks environment, the corresponding field will not appear in the three-dots menu.

The following fields are included in the timelogs table:

* **Employee** (fixed). [Employee](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/employee-management) name, which can be selected to access the employee profile.
* **Employee Organization Unit**. The organization unit of the employee. The field is displayed only if your environment is converted to an [enterprise structure](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/concepts-organization-units).
* **Crew Tag**. Employee [crew tags](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/job-site-settings#crew-tags) if any.
* **Company**. Employee's [company](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/companies).
* **Pay Group**. Employee's [pay group](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/creating-a-new-employee#step-7-select-a-pay-group).
* **Punch In/Punch Out** (fixed). Timelog's punch date and time.
* **Hours** (fixed). **Hours** (fixed). The overall duration of the timelog. Note that for [salary](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/creating-a-new-employee#step-7-select-a-pay-group) employees the value is always the duration of the working day (`8h`, for example) no matter when they've punched in and punched out. However, you can export the actual hours using the [Salary actual hours](doc:standard-reports-referencehttps://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/standard-reports-reference#salary-actual-hours) report. When a timelog includes more than one pay ID, for example REG and GUAR, the column breaks the duration down by pay ID, with the combined total shown below. If GUAR is one of the pay IDs, this total is the adjusted (payable) duration, not the employee's actual worked time.
* **Meal Break**. Apply a [fixed meal break](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/job-site-settings#fixed-meal-policy) to the timelog.
* **Rest Break**. Apply a [fixed rest break](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/job-site-settings#rest-break-policy) to the timelog.
* **Flag/Comment** (fixed). Flag and comment information and a link to access [timelog details](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/timelog-details) that also includes details on flags and comments. See [Comments](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/timelog-details#comments) to learn more about the comment icon types. See [Flags](https://docs.mobiclocks.com/docs/flags) to learn more about flag icons.
