July 2025: Complete flags system rewrite and new Flag dashboard

This major release introduces a complete rewrite of the MobiClocks Flags system, bringing enhanced flag management, automatic resolution capabilities, and an all-new Flag dashboard. The update simplifies flag resolution workflows and provides comprehensive visibility into flag patterns across your organization.

Flag management system redesign

We've completely redesigned how flags are managed in MobiClocks with a dedicated Flag Management section in Administration, replacing the previous Settings sub-tab.

Enhanced flag type classification

Flags are now organized into three distinct categories:

Critical flags (Red indicator)

Missed Punch
Unfinished Meal Break
Time Overlap (New): Automatically identifies conflicting time entries for the same employee on the same day

These flags cannot be disabled and are automatically resolved when the underlying issue is fixed. These block job site review, cost coding, and payroll approval until resolved.

Advisory flags (Orange indicator)

Face Spoofing, Late Meal Break, Manually Updated, Missed Meal Break, Out of Geofence, Out of Working Hours, Pin Punch, Short Meal Break, Time Spoofing

These flags can be manually resolved and don't block workflows. Also, you can categorize these as Critical or Informational based on your needs.

Informational flags (Blue indicator)

Attempt Failed, Different Job Site, Different Org Unit, Offline Punch

These flags provide context without blocking workflows and can be recategorized as Critical or Advisory if needed.

New Time Overlap flag

This new flag addresses a common issue where multiple timelog entries exist for the same employee on the same day during overlapping periods. This typically occurs when an employee manually logs time while an offline punch syncs for the same timeframe.

The flag filters in the Timelogs list have been redesigned. Also, you can now choose which flags appear in the list as well as customize their order.
