Attestation

Providing employees with a safety disclaimer.

The attestation dialog can be shown to MobiClocks Personal App and Kiosk App users on punch in and punch out to require them to accept a safety disclaimer and any other relevant terms before proceeding with the punch.

PERMISSIONS

You may view the Attestation page if you have the View "Safety" tab permission enabled for your role in Administration () > Role Permissions > Administration. Additionally, you may make changes on the Attestation page if you have the Edit disclaimer settings permission enabled for your role in Administration () > Role Permissions > Administration.

You can configure the content and layout of the attestation dialog. The Attestation page is divided into Punch in and Punch out sections, and you also have a Preview area on the right-hand side to see how the dialog would look on mobile devices. The following screenshot shows the attestation settings for punchin and punch out.

Attestation dialog configuration

There are three versions of the attestation dialog box to choose from. The first one is the No Disclaimer option, which can be selected if you don't need to display anything on employee punch. Next comes the Disclaimer option, which is discussed in the following section.

Disclaimer

In the Disclaimer layout, you can configure the Disclaimer text area, which is supposed to describe the terms that the user needs to accept. There is also a Statement Agreement text field, which is the text next to the checkbox that employees need to check to formally confirm that they accept the proposed terms. The following screenshot highlights these two fields.

Additionally, you can add the French and Spanish versions of the disclaimer, which will be shown if the Personal or Kiosk App's language is set to French or Spanish (if no language is set, the default English version will be displayed).

Disclaimer + Attestation

Lastly, you have the Disclaimer + Attestation layout that lets you add up to five custom checkboxes to the disclaimer. You can use this layout if you need to provide some additional terms for your employees to read and confirm.

In this layout, you have a general Title and Description for attestation as well as up to five custom checkboxes with their own Title and Description. Additionally, you can set the checkbox to be Checked by default.

Lastly, you can activate a Reason text box to let employees explain why they haven’t been able to check any of the checkboxes or let them provide any relevant comments on the offered terms. The following screenshot shows the reason text box on mobile.

All of the settings described above are available for both punch in and punch out. Similarly, the Preview area has two tabs to preview punch in and punch out dialog separately.
