View and edit kiosk clocks

View the list of clocks and edit clock details.

After you add one or more kiosk clocks to your MobiClocks environment, you can view the list of clocks to modify them as well as learn some additional information about clock usage. The complete list of kiosk clocks can be accessed from the Clocks section of your Web App, under the Kiosk clocks tab.

List of kiosk clocks

The list of kiosk clocks includes the following fields:

  • Clock name. The name of the clock.
  • Clock OS. The operating system of the device the clock is used from.
  • App version. The version of the connected Kiosk App.
  • Activation date. The activation date of the clock.
  • Last Active Date. When the connected Kiosk App was used for the last time.
  • Job sites. The clock's job sites.
  • Geofence Lock. Shows whether the clock's Geofence Lock is on or off. You can also switch the toggle directly from the list.
  • Liveness Check. Shows whether the clock's Liveness Check is on or off. You can also switch the toggle directly from the list.
  • Roaming. Shows whether the clock's Roaming option is on or off. You can also switch the toggle directly from the list.
  • Sunglasses/Face mask. Shows whether the clock's Sunglasses/Face mask option is on or off. You can also switch the toggle directly from the list.
  • Notes. Shows the clock's notes if any.
  • Status. Shows if the clock is Active or Disabled.

You have the option of exporting the complete list of clocks along with their details as an XLSX file.

PERMISSIONS

You may export the list of clocks if you have the Export clocks permission enabled for your role in Administration () > Role Permissions > Clocks.

Edit a kiosk clock

Select a clock from the list of clocks to access its settings.

You may edit a clock if you have the Edit clock permission enabled for your role in Administration () > Role Permissions > Clocks. Additionally, you may delete a clock if you have the Delete clock permission enabled for your role under the same setting.

Apart from the settings discussed in the Add a Kiosk clock topic, you have the following options.

  • Status. If you disable a clock, the connected Kiosk Appbecomes inactive and shows a notification that the clock is disabled.
  • Delete clock. If you delete a clock, the connected Kiosk App resets and starts showing the authentication screen.
  • Reset. The Reset option is available for all activated clocks. It resets the clock to its initial state before activation (clock name and assigned job sites are retained). For example, if you have removed your Kiosk App from your device and want to reinstall it on the same or another device, you can reset the clock and activate it again on the device.

    PERMISSIONS

    The following permissions in Administration () > Role Permissions > Clocks control clock resetting:

    • Reset any clock
    • Reset clocks at assigned job sites

NOTE

If your MobiClocks environment is converted to an enterprise structure, you can assign the clock to job sites from any organization unit in your environment. When you set a Main job site from a different organization unit, the clock's organization unit automatically updates to match the Main job site's organization unit.
