Add and edit measurement units

Using production quantity, you can measure the amount of work accomplished for a specific cost code. To do that, you also need to indicate a measurement unit, which can differ depending on the type of work. Therefore, you first need to define the measurement units to then be able to use them when adding production quantity.

Add a measurement unit

Follow these steps to add a new measurement unit:

1. Navigate to Administration () > Production Quantity > Measurement Units.
2. Select the Add New Measurement Unit button.
3. Specify a measurement unit. You can also add a description, which is optional.
4. Select the ADD button to add the new measurement unit to the list.

Edit a measurement unit

To edit an existing measurement unit, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Administration () > Production Quantity > Measurement Units.
2. Choose the measurement unit you want to edit.
3. Select the edit button next to the measurement unit. There is also a delete option to remove the measurement unit.
4. Make the required edits in the dialog box.
5. Select the EDIT button to save the changes.
