Calendar
Configuring holidays for your MobiClocks environment.
In the Calendar tab of the Holidays page, you specify which days of the year are considered holidays in your MobiClocks environment. Based on that, if a particular day is a holiday, timelogs generated on that day are assigned a [HOL] (Holiday) or [HOL_WORK] (Holiday Work) pay ID depending on whether the employee has worked on that day or not.
Year and country
At the top of the Calendar tab, you have two lists where you select the calendar year and the country. For example, Holidays in Canada will apply to job sites located in Canada. If you don't select a country, the holidays added to the calendar will be applied to all job sites. The following screenshot shows the year and country selection lists.
When you select a country, the calendar already contains all the public holidays of that country, which you can modify. Continue to the following section to see how that works.
Add and modify holidays
If a particular day in the calendar is a holiday, you can view the holiday title by hovering over the date cell. Select the date cells to see the list of available actions:
- Remove
- Change title
- Move to Previous Day
- Move to Next Day
The following GIF shows the process of accessing holiday actions.
To add a new holiday, select a date in the calendar, select the Add button, and specify a title. The following GIF shows the process of adding a new holiday.
NOTE
When you add a holiday for a specific year, it is not moved to the next year automatically.
