View notifications

How to view notifications in Web App.

To view your notifications, select the notifications icon in the upper-right corner of your Web App.

All your notifications are organized into modules, as shown in the following screenshot.

Next to each module's name, you see the number of unread notifications in a red color. Each notification contains the name of the user or employee who has taken the action as well as details on the event. The icon below the profile picture indicates the priority of the event.

Also, if multiple notifications have a common parameter (e.g. payroll events on the same job site), they are grouped under a thread, as shown in the following screenshot.

Several actions can be performed on notifications, which are discussed next.

Actions

Select a notification

Select a notification to navigate to the corresponding item in your environment:

  • Integration. You are taken to the Employees section of the corresponding integration.
  • Payroll. You are taken to the corresponding payroll card in the Payroll dashboard.
  • Requests. You are taken to the corresponding request ticket in the Workforce module or the Scheduling tab of the job site depending on your permissions.
  • Scheduling. You are taken to the corresponding job site in the Scheduling section of the Workforce module or the Scheduling section of the job site depending on your permissions.
  • Timelog. You are taken to the Comments tab of the corresponding timelog details page.

Mark all as read

This action marks all the notifications in the selected module as read.

Show only unread

This action filters notifications in the selected module, showing only the ones that haven't been read.

Mark group as read

Grouped notifications have an additional action named Mark group as read, which marks all the notifications in the group as read. The action is highlighted in the following screenshot.
