See employee availability

See which employees are not occupied.

In the Availability section of Workforce, you have an overview of employees who are not occupied, that is don't have any schedulesduring the selected period.

PERMISSIONS

You may access the Availability tab if you have the View "Availability" tab permission enabled for your role in Administration () > Role Permissions > Workforce.

To start reviewing employee availability, select a date range using the date picker at the top of the availability calendar. For each day, you have the total number of active employees and the number of employees who don't have a schedule on that day. In the following screenshot, the overall number of employees on Monday is 543, while the number of unoccupied employees is 178.

Next, you have a breakdown of the number of available employees by job title. In the example shown in the following GIF, there are 2 Assistant Superintendants available on Friday. You can also select the number to view the list of employees in a sidebar.

Availability reports

There are two types of reports in the Availability section. Using the Download report button in the upper-right corner of the page, you can download a general report that includes the same data you see in the availability calendar for the selected date range.

Additionally, you can download a daily availability report that includes the complete list of available employees for the selected day along with their Company, Employee Number, Pay Group, and Job Title. To do that, hover over the date cell in the heading of the availability calendar and select the download button. The following GIF shows the process of locating the daily report download button.
