Preview forms

The Preview tab shows a fully interactive, employee-facing version of your form. You can fill in fields, trigger logic rules, and navigate between pages exactly as employees would during punch-in or punch-out. Use the preview to verify that all fields, conditions, and layout settings work as expected before saving and deploying the form.

Preview on different devices

Because employees access punch forms from a variety of devices, the Preview tab includes device simulation controls in the top-right corner. Click the device icon to select from a list of screen sizes including Desktop, iPhone SE, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPad Mini, iPad Air, Android Phone, Android Tablet, and Microsoft Surface. When a mobile or tablet device is selected, the preview renders inside a device frame so you can check how the form fits and scrolls on smaller screens. Use the orientation toggle next to the device selector to switch between portrait and landscape views.

Show invisible elements

The crossed-out eye icon () in the top-right corner toggles the visibility of form elements that are currently hidden by logic rules. When enabled, fields that would normally be hidden from employees are displayed in the preview, allowing you to verify their content, layout, and settings without having to satisfy the conditions that would normally reveal them. This is especially useful when testing complex conditional logic.
