Schedule an SMS

To schedule an SMS, navigate to the Scheduled section of the SMS module and select Schedule new SMS. In the dialog that opens next, complete the following steps. Scheduled messages appear in the list of scheduled messages. See View scheduled SMS to learn more.

The process of scheduling a message is similar to the process of sending a message apart from the Schedule step discussed next

Schedule for later

To schedule a message, instead of sending it immediately, select the Schedule for later option in the Schedule step of the Schedule new SMS dialog.

Specify date and time

Configure when the SMS should be sent by specifying the sending date, time, and optional recurrence settings.

To specify date and time:

In the Sending date field, select Choose date to open the date picker.
Navigate to the desired month using the left and right arrows, then select a date from the calendar.
In the Sending time field, select Select time to open the time picker.
Use the dropdown menus to set the hours and minutes. Select AM or PM as needed.
Select Apply to confirm the time.
(Optional) Select the Repeat this message checkbox to send the message repeatedly.
If recurrence is enabled, configure the following settings:
- Repeat every: Enter a number and select the time unit (Day, Week, or Month) from the dropdown menu. For example, "1 Day" sends the message daily, while "2 Week" sends it every two weeks.
- Ends: Choose when the recurring schedule should stop:
  - Never: The message continues sending indefinitely.
  - On: Select a specific end date from the date picker.
  - After: Specify the number of occurrences (for example, "10 occurrences" sends the message 10 times, then stops).
